First Time BRT System In Purwokerto

There is an unsual view in Purwokerto, namely a BRT System as known as Bus Rapid Transit. This service organized by Trans Jateng and to become the first BRT System in Purwokerto that cover an interurban area. The route of this service only have one coridor which is a Corridor 1 that serve from Purwokerto (Bulupitu Bus Terminals) to Purbalingga (Bukateja Bus Terminals).

At this first and third days of launching the BRT, the fare service is free. After 3 days we will gonna take fare Rp 4000 for general passengers, Rp 2000 for student, labor, and veteran. This BRT system also inaugurated by Central Java Governor which is Ganjar Pranowo on August, 13 2018 at Bulupitu Bus Terminal, Purwokerto that become a first departure from Purwokerto.

In this time I was using the BRT system begin from Rajawali Cinema Shelter. At the same time I was trying read a route map on this shelter. Honestly when I read the map I'm so confusing to understand this map cause the layout and design that not have a simplicity guide to understand. And this is how the route map representated.

When I began my first trip form Rajawali we should transit to change the bus at the Bulupitu Bus Terminals. Cause the Bullupitu shelter actually it has become a terminus shelter from Purbalingga. But remember the bus from Purbalingga is not going to Bulupitu Bus Terminals directly because they will going to around the downtown area in Purwokerto first.

This is a simple explanation for the BRT route. The bus from Purbalingga direction will not turn left into the terminals in Gerilya Street directly but they will go straight to pass the round about of Andhang Pangrenan. And then turn right into the S. Parman Street passed the Rajawali Cinema, turn left into the General of Sudirman Street, through RRI Office until passed the City Downtown. After that turn right into the Wiryaatmaja Street to Pasar Manis direction, SMA Bruderan, and SMA N 1 Purwokerto. Then teh bus turn right to Merdeka Street, thourgh Bank Mandiri Office, and reenter the S.Parman Street passed the Rajawali, turn left into the Gerilya Street passed the round about of Andhang. Finally the bus stoped in their terminus shelter is Bulupitu.

Here is the Passanger with it's BRT and many passengers who are waiting bus at Bulupitu Bus Terminal shelter. And then how the atmosfer inside the bus?, Inside the bus I rode BRT with many society and they are very enthusiast with this service. Each people talked and asked about this system to the conductor.
